I don't have much experience in organized baseball, but I have loved and tracked the sport for several seasons now. I had applied in my high school years for the baseball teams but the team could never manage to scrape up enough players to form one. My batting skills are not the best but I am very confident in my base running and fielding. I play recreational when ever the possibility arises. My name is Alex MacDonald, I will be turning 19 in March. I'm 6 foot 2 and a bit and weigh about 170. I'm a pitcher, mainly relief. I am a freshman pitcher for the Dalhousie University Tigers, we play some good ball and I am just looking to improve over the course of the summer. I throw right handed, and can hit both sides, I'm much more comfortable from the right hand side however. Hitting is not really my thing, thankfully in university baseball we play DH, but I draw a lot of walks and my hitting is improving. My fastball is not the fastest, low to mid 70s, but I like my two seam as well and I mix in two types of changeups and the curve is coming nicely. After the coaching I received this past fall I believe things are coming together nicely and I look forward to playing some ball for whoever needs some pitching. Before playing at Dalhousie I played for Glebe for some time and I played a year of High School ball in my freshman year before our school shut down the team

I am interested in playing Tier 2 or 3 ball this summer. I have high school and house league experience. Although I haven't played in a couple years, my bat was above average (batted ~.450 in senior year). My fielding is strong, and my base running is okay. More than anything, I'm looking for an opportunity to have a fun time in a semi-competitive environment.

I'm extremely interested in joining a Tier 3 or 4 NCBL team in 2011. Growing up, I played little league (T-ball to 'overhand') for about 6 years until I was 11. I have been playing in slo-pitch type leagues for the past 7 or 8 years. I prefer to play baseball, but didn't actively search for a team until this year. I would say I'm pretty comfortable fielding the ball at most positions and have a solid arm and good speed. I think the biggest adjustment for me will be at the plate, but I'm very comfortable with the bat, with more line drive power than anything. Lastly, I am a very passionate baseball fan, a quick learner, a hard worker who will always hustle and an all-around solid guy on the bench.

I grew up in Calgary in a uncharacteristically Canadian childhood. Fell in love with baseball first and never played another sport. My summers were filled with games and practice and my winters with camps. Moved from calgary to rural ontario in 2003 and baseball was no longer available. I then started playing fast pitch softball until 2008, and since have been playing slo-pitch (sigh...) It would be very safe to say I am rusty coming back to the true game, but I am eager to knock it off. Would probably be best suited to a tier 2/3 team but I am unfamiliar with the level of competition. My play style is serious, and competitive but I also find great joy on the field. I'm quick and good defensively, and I have a very versed understanding of the game having played, coached and been a dedicated fan for many years. I'm a 25 year old male, played baseball for over 10 years when I was younger. Moved to Ottawa about 8 years ago and was never able to get into a league since, but I've been trying. I played 3-Pitch, Softball, and rep. Hardball. I bat left and throw right, played primarily 1st base when I was playing hardball, but also player Catcher and Short-Stop while in Softball. I'm a strong player, although I may be a bit rusty after not having played in a few years now. But train regularly and keep in good shape so it should be an easy step back into the world of baseball.

I have played competitive baseball all my life. I have spent the last few years being a player and coach in Guelph Minor Baseball but plan to stay in Ottawa this year. I have not seen the talent of each of the tiers so am not exactly sure where I would fit in best. I would say I am an above average defensive player and once adjusted to pitching have a good average and decent power. I am most comfortable and played competitively in the positons listed but feel like I can fill in anywhere needed besides pitching(those days are done!)

I have played softball/baseball since I was 5. I played little league and hit clean up for my high school team. I'm a contact hitter, who once on base can burn a team with my speed.
