NCBL'ers, do you have a child in high school? As you know, all students
need 40 hours of volunteer time to graduate; the NCBL can help!
We hope to have high school students scorekeep NCBL games this season,
if you know of a student that may be interested, please have them email
ncbl@rogers.com for more information.
Like going to watch NCBL games? Depending on how many students
partipate, there may be opportunities for NCBL players/fans to help
with the scorekeeping, if you are interested, please email ncbl@rogers.com.
NCBL Community Involvement Volunteer Program Details
Ottawa’s only off-season Batting Cage is up and running again this year in Ottawa’s west end, with some nights and weekend rental slots available for NCBL teams between mid-February and mid-May. The cage features a dual wheel pitching machine that can throw a variety of pitches (curves, sliders, cutter, FB), with speeds up to 100 MPH, using real baseballs.
