| Chris
did everything for us this year. He ate up a lot of innings on the mound.
Also stole over 30 bases. He batted over .600 and played injured for most of
the year. He played every position in the field throughout the year. I think
he is a good candidate for MVP. |

| intense,
intimidating batter and defensive player.
Was the “go to” guy on offense, pitched very effectively (shutting
some teams down), and making stellar plays in the outfield and infield. |

Mark Bustard |

|
|
|
|
| Leading
the team in hits, runs, RBIs and Home runs the Mavericks offense started with
Mark's production at the plate. Mark
capped many rallies with a clutch hit as many of his 21 RBIs came with 2 outs
or in the later stages of the game. In
centre field, Bustard was a calming influence for the Mavericks' staff as
they knew the middle part of the outfield was patrolled by one of the best
gloves in the NCBL. |

batted over .600 this year with quite a few doubles, triples and a home run.
Every time he was at the plate he was a threat to get on base and once he did
he was a threat to steal a bag. |

| Steve
pitched a ton of innings for us with a limited amount of walks or base
runners on. He always went a complete 7 innings for us not being pulled once.
He won 5 games and they were all complete. Big reason for us making the
playoffs in our first year. |

Jeremy Pluym |

Accounting
for more than a third of the Mavericks' wins, Jeremy was instrumental in
turning around the Mavs' season. His
nasty curveball and deceiving pick-off move to first was the bane of many
hitters and runners. The Lefty
averaged more than a strike-out per inning and threw 4 complete games
victories.

ERA 4.57 but had 9 earned runs in 2/3 on first start. Remove that and ERA is 3.03. |
